- The exact downloaded photograph was inspected locally. It directly shows the cliff-scale Three Brothers granite mass: tall attached walls and stepped buttresses are divided by intersecting subvertical and oblique-to-curving exfoliation joints. Trees partly interrupt some edges, but the dominant wall, crest, base direction, and joint-controlled slab geometry remain readable. The generated rear, sides, top, and bottom are authored hypotheses.
- Why this shape
- Build one tall, asymmetric, terrain-connected granite cliff mass with a steep dominant wall, two integrated stepped buttresses, an irregular crest, and a broad continuous toe. Two unequal finite joint families must control the macro silhouette and rockfall scars: subvertical regional joints intersect oblique-to-curving exfoliation sheets. Keep the mass attached and substantially deep; never collapse it into a low rounded outcrop, freestanding needle, rubble pile, or perfect crack lattice.
